REGISTRATION OPENS 8/24 for the 2026 MO Advocacy in Action Conference!

The Missouri Nurses Association would like to invite you to participate in the MO Advocacy in Action Conference scheduled for November 5 at the new VTL Solutions/Missouri Nurses Association Office in Jefferson City, Missouri.

MONA’s 2026 MO Advocacy in Action Conference is designed for nurses interested in learning more about legislative advocacy.

Nurses do more than delegate, dictate, and direct; nurses create change. MONA believes it is vital to involve all Missouri nurses in advocacy. Each and every nurse has the potential to make a positive impact on the profession through public policy advocacy for patients, nurses and the nursing profession.

This conference will teach participants to utilize their leadership abilities in the political world. Nurses continue to be the most trusted profession, and policymakers listen when nurses speak.

This conference will help nurses speak confidently with one unified voice, insight into the legislative and regulatory processes and empowering nurses to positively impact health care policy through advocacy.

Pre-registration is required for participation in the event. No registrations are accepted after October 25, 2026.

DISCLOSURES

Successful Completion – Attendees must participate in all of the educational sessions and complete the online conference evaluation to receive a certificate of completion. The link to the online evaluation will be emailed to participants (to the email address provided at registration) upon conclusion of the activity.

Contact Hours – Participants meeting the successful completion requirements will receive 4.0 contact hours.

ACCREDITATION

VTL Center for Professional Development is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

What is VTL Solutions and the VTL Center for Professional Development? The Kansas State Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association and Nebraska Nurses Association formed a collaborative, originally named the Midwest Multistate Division (Midwest MSD), with the goal of promoting efficiencies and growth. As part of this collaborative the VTL Professional Development department formed, to address the educational needs of nurses across the nation. The Midwest MSD expanded their mission in 2025 and was renamed and rebranded VTL Solutions, offering a full suite of association management services to companies beyond those in the Midwest. The VTL Center for Professional Development is accredited as an ANCC approver and provider of NCPD, and will continue to address the professional development needs of nurses and beyond.
