2026 Nursing Practice & Policy Roundtable

Description

The Missouri Nurses Association (MONA) is pleased to be once again hosting the Nursing Policy & Practice Roundtable, a select group of highly experienced and engaged nursing leaders throughout Missouri representing all major nursing organizations, specialty nursing organizations, and critical stakeholders. 

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss nursing issues, strategies, tactics, outcomes, and future collaboration opportunities. The group will establish common nursing practice and policy priorities among the participants. Roundtable participants will approach discussions with the intent of establishing priority issues that will contribute to and strengthen the ability of nurses to meet health care needs and policy initiatives. Participants will also identify ways to increase communications and collaboration within the nursing profession. 

Goal: Increase nursing’s voice and presence in the Capitol, build upon our nursing brand, and increase collaboration in our advocacy efforts to have a loud, unified voice on nursing practice and policy issues in Missouri.
