The Missouri Nurses Association and Missouri Organization of Nurse Leaders 2024 Nurse Leadership Forum - Restoring Joy with a Healthy Work Environment is scheduled for August 29th at the Capital Bluffs Event Center in Jefferson City, MO. The Capital Bluffs Event Center is located at 1616 Oilwell Rd Suite B, Jefferson City, MO 65101.

Our goal is to have front-line nurses and nurse leaders from every hospital and health related industry come together to facilitate and enhance a Healthy Work Environment in Missouri and restore joy into the practice of nursing. The 2024 forum is an opportunity to explore with your peers what it means to have a healthy work environment with wellness, professional governance and safety as featured topics. With nurses at the heart of care and quality outcomes, those attending will be provided with a blueprint for establishing a healthy work environment regardless of position or title. Collaboration and communication are vital to forging the future of care delivery in an environment where nurses want to work.

Registration and exhibits open at 8:00 am and the program begins at 9:00 am. A continental breakfast is provided for all attendees at 8:00 am.

DISCLOSURES

Successful Completion – Attendees must pre-register, participate in all of the educational sessions and complete the online conference evaluation to receive a certificate of completion. The link to the online evaluation will be emailed to participants (to the email address provided at registration) upon conclusion of the activity.

Contact Hours – Participants meeting the successful completion requirements will receive 4.25 contact hours.

Joint Provider – This conference was jointly provided by the Missouri Nurses Association, as a part of the Midwest Multistate Division and the Missouri Organization of Nurse Leaders. 

ACCREDITATION

The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

What is the Midwest Multistate Division? The Kansas State Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association and Nebraska Nurses Association formed a collaborative, namely the Midwest Multistate Division (Midwest MSD), with the goal of promoting efficiencies and growth. As part of this collaborative, the Midwest MSD Professional Development Unit (PD Unit) was formed, which is accredited as an ANCC approver and provider of NCPD, to address the educational needs of nurses in the Midwest region.

The deadline to register is August 5, 2024. Exhibit space is limited, so please notify us of your intent to exhibit as soon as possible so we may reserve a table for you.

Refund/Cancellation Policy – Sponsor fees, less a $100.00 enrollment processing fee, will be refunded to sponsors who cannot attend and notify the Missouri Nurses Association/Midwest MSD office in writing of the cancellation before August 1, 2024. As of August 1, 2024, materials are in production and no refunds will be made. 

NOTE: Sponsor applications/registrations are reviewed by the Missouri Nurses Association and the Missouri Organization of Nurse Leaders leadership. If it is determined that a company or individual’s product, services or information conflicts with or contradicts the mission, purpose or policies of either association, the application will be denied, and if applicable, a refund will be issued.
