The Missouri Nurses Association would like to invite you to participate in the 2025 MONA Fall Conference scheduled for November 7 at MU Education Center in Columbia, Missouri. 

The 2025 Conference theme is "From Surviving to Thriving: Empowering Nurses in Today’s Workplace"

Nursing is a challenging yet deeply rewarding profession. From the frontlines of healthcare, nurses navigate emotional, mental, and physical stress while confronting hardship, trauma, and loss. The MONA Fall Conference will address both mental and physical challenges faced by nurses in all practice settings.  

An interactive panel discussion on workplace violence will feature victim stories and the impact their experiences have made on their practice, in addition to panelists sharing resources that may have been unknown to nurses.

Two local experts in the field will discuss the threats of compassion fatigue and burnout, exploring how to stay grounded, compassionate, and connected to your purpose.  Learn how to foster professional identity development at every stage of your career and cultivate lasting joy in your work, even in the toughest moments. Attendees will discover practical tools for self-care, including reflection techniques and other strategies for maintaining a positive outlook, no matter the circumstances

HOTEL

Sleeping rooms have been blocked for the Missouri Nurses Association at the Courtyard Marriott Columbia located at 3301 Lemone Industrial Blvd Columbia, MO 65201 for November 6 for a rate of $169.00 plus taxes.

Reservations must be made on or before October 16, 2025.

DISCLOSURES

Successful Completion – Attendees must participate in all of the educational sessions and complete the online conference evaluation to receive a certificate of completion. The link to the online evaluation will be emailed to participants (to the email address provided at registration) upon conclusion of the activity.

Contact Hours – Participants meeting the successful completion requirements will receive 4.0 contact hours. 

Relevant Financial Relationships – This educational activity does not include any content that relates to the products or services of an ineligible company/organization, which would require identification and mitigation.

ACCREDITATION

4.0 contact hours are available to those who meet the successful completion requirements.

VTL Center for Professional Development is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

What is VTL Center for Professional Development? The Kansas State Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association and Nebraska Nurses Association formed a collaborative, namely the Midwest Multistate Division (Midwest MSD), which was renamed VTL Solutions in 2025, with the goal of promoting efficiencies and growth. As part of this collaborative, the VTL Center for Professional Development was formed, which is accredited as an ANCC approver and provider of NCPD, to address the educational needs of nurses across the region.
